Politics runs in the blood, Oshiomole's son runs for House of Reps

The son of former Governor of Edo state, Adams Oshiomole is
following his father's footsteps

- Mr Cyril Oshiomole is currently in the race for a House of Reps
seat

- He is running for the Etsako federal constituency vacant seat

It seems like there is a love for politics in the Oshiomole family
as, Dr Cyril Oshiomole, the first son of Adams Oshiomole has
decided to join the race for Etsako federal constituency vacant
seat.

Dr Cyril Oshiomole is the first son of Oshiomole from his late
wife, Mrs Clara Oshiomole. According to Daily Post, posters
campaigning for him can be seen in various strategic locations in
Benin, including Auchi and other major communities in Etsako
East, Central and West local government areas.

Some of the posters were also pasted in some parts of Benin
City, especially in front of Denis Osadebe Government House and
the state secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Written on the posters, with the picture of the medical doctor, are
the following sentences: “Enough is Enough, “it is time for the
New Generation”.

The Etsako federal constituency seat was declared vacant last
month by speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr Yakubu
Dogara.

The previous occupant of the seat was Mr Philip Shaibu, who has
been elected as deputy governor of the state. Dr Cyril is now
running against 5 other people.

Meanwhile, Adams Oshiomhole may be the next national
chairman of the APC. This is due to a report from The Nation
that the current chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, is being
considered for an ambassadorial position by the presidency.
